It all starts with finding yourself so that you can then discover your true passions in life. The Career Guidance module includes the following topics:

  • Discover Your Interests

    • Start questioning yourself about the meaning of your life. 

    • Monitor and see some of the values (e.g., respect) and motivations (e.g., your goals) that help you move forward in life.

    • Integrate self-reflection and self-care into your daily life routine.

  • Interview 101

    • How to appropriately respond to “Tell me about yourself” using a chronological method.

    • Learn different interviewing techniques (e.g., SOARA) to provide more knowledgeable and personalized responses.

    • Get introduced to some of the common interview questions you might face.

  • Leadership and Professionalism

    • Think of some of the great leaders you find inspiring? Why do you find them inspirational? 

    • Learn what skills make a great leader and try to incorporate them into your life.

    • It is more important to be Empathetic and Understanding than Sympathetic. 

    • Do you know what professional attire is? Learn what appropriate attire for a professional setting is.

    • As professionals, it is crucial to be able to construct professional emails.
